Virtual reality, or the metaverse, has been getting more and more attention from famous people and companies lately.
Victoria’s Secret, an American lingerie and beauty brand, is taking its first steps into the virtual world.
Michael Kondoudis, a trademark attorney, tweeted on February 13 that Victoria’s Secret had filed four applications for digital collectibles and media developed using blockchain technology, as well as online clothes and media for usage in virtual worlds.
Victoria’s Secret plans to sell virtual products and services in online and virtual environments such as NFTs and other metaverse experiences.
